Back in Town

I have no idea whether Bree Mills' series "True Lesbian" is a success (by whatever standards, such as popularity), but at least the sincerity is on display in this set of three stories, now on DVD under the Adult TIme label.

The series debuted in March 2020 on the Girlsway website for three weekly episodes, but the Covid-19 pandemic hit, and it was only about 18 months later (in November 2021) that it resumed, but on an every other month basis.

"Meeting Myself for the First Time" opens with a remarkable 6-minute monologue by Casey Calvert (spoken with her eyes closed, playing with a wedding ring prop) as she laments all the years wasted with her husband before finding out he's gay. She wonders if she's gay too, pouring her heart out almost wistfully to her pal Kira Noir. Kira turns matchmaker, fixing her up with cousin Lily, played by Whitney Wright, and maybe it's WW's alluring bangs hairdo, but she and Casey really hit it off in the XXX portion of the segment, directed by Stella Smut.

Siouxsie Q takes writing and directing honors for a story from her own experience: "Back in Town", which she's transposed to star two talented Black actresses: Alexis Tae and Ana Foxxx. Their romance also features a large group of extras for a party scene, both female and male. It's a nostalgic and dramatic vignette, well-acted by the duo.

Bree Mills does a fine job of presenting true love in "Kindred Spirits", brought to life by two of her favorite performers: Jane Wilde and Kenna James.

It's a simple story (written by Fistopher Nolan) of Jane as a small-town girl who's come out, going reluctantly to a party with her friend Alexia Anders. She finds it dull, and is not impressed by the "hippie" vibe until suddenly Kenna James takes over, reciting to the group a poem she's written. Jane is thunderstruck, and makes the first move, leading to a sensual love scene with Kenna.

Directed by Bree, it's a heartwarming Adult scene, with nice background extras contributing, including Bree, Chanell Heart, Leda Lotharia and of course Alexia.
