Curiosidades
Dolly was adapted from a 5-page script Ryan Elias Baker had written a year before it was conceptualized. The original script would've been about three minutes long in execution, and featured a man and a woman at a dinner table in the year 1960. In the original script, the man did not dress the woman like a doll, but instead was a classic brutish abuser. Baker used the time period of 1960 as a template and theme, but the film Dolly is set in modern times.

Not gonna lie, this movie had me pooping my pants.

The main villain is crazy, like mental hospital crazy. Right when I thought he had topped his weirdness and insanity, he did something even crazier and more bizarre. Supremely unpredictable, and it made me very uncomfortable--in a good way. It helps that Baker, who plays the insane Eddie, is inherently very unattractive. It sells his perturbing, slimy, yet polite exterior.

Kenna Frisby, who plays Margot, is fantastic as the helpless main character who has to endure Eddie's insane antics. I would probably go crazy living with a guy that unhinged...

Great cinematography. Solid script.

There's also a twist, sort of...won't spoil it. All I'll say is good job. Rocked my socks off.
