At the end of the first movie, Destined at Christmas, Theo and Kim were both wearing wedding rings, indicating they were already married. And baby Victoria was already born; but in this movie, Theo refers to this one as her first Christmas. A much better sequel to the first movie would be for Theo and Kim to possibly be having their own baby at Christmas with a storyline centered around that instead of completely ignoring the ending of the original movie.

A Christmas home run!

Watching this makes me think more romantic movies need sequels. This might be better than the first one. The mystery of not knowing when or where the proposal will happen was fun. It has dramatic tension and some light comedy but it doesn't overwhelm the romance. The romance was done pretty much perfectly.

As for other characters, the brother and sister-in-law now have their baby. I love the progression from the first movie. Having Ashley help them out in her 12 days of Christmas was clever. The ensemble cast is used really well and adds to the cozy feeling of the movie.

I would like to see GAC do at least one more entry to make it a trilogy.
