Here It's a Bed of Roses

We just saw "Here its a bed of roses" (what a long title btw) last night, and we are still trying to figure out Burcin. He is like that mysterious student in class who you're kind of drawn to, but you're also a little afraid to make eye contact, you know? The whole vibe was very Film Studies 101, which we loved. We also liked the minimal music and sound usage. Dream scenes were interesting... The pacing could be more tightened though. I loved the part where the protagonist totally loses it on the balcony -- it was weirdly intense! Overall, I think it is a successful and interesting first film.
