As someone who spent the better part of the nineties and early 2000s in Camden this seemed like a bit of a missed opportunity.
While it was absolutely grand to see all the other favorites, it was hard to know why the series used Dua Lupa as a through line when he relationship to Camden seems more residential than influential. And there was a bit of something missing from the overall telling of the story of Camden. It was like it was told from the pov from a very small very select group of people who were part of the scene but what about the rest of the people who made it what it was.
I used to manage the guest list of Feet First Tuesday nights at Camden Palais (as we called it) and would regularly see people like Mark Lamar, Skin from Skunk Anansie and others milling about. It was a major part of many people's lives and this doc only scratched the surface.
TLdR - nice to see the old spots, but didn't feel like it told the real story.
