Can buckets of gore still be empty?

Sadly, yes, Who gives these people so much money? They tried but need a bit more spit and polish. Maybe start this at the script level? And then tighten up every step of the process from pre to post production and you've got a better chance of having a film to be proud of, rather than the "near" mess this movie becomes. Acting, style, gore, all passable. Can't help feeling a hugely missed opportunity here to do something new and fresh. Give it a go if you love any type of gore. Or Asian horror, which rules - usually. But it's not one I'd buy, maybe just stream it. And it could have done with an extra half hour shaved off if the plot is not there to hold a decent length film and if its just rambling along but ultimately not going anywhere.
