Hiding behind the near-anagram phony moniker "Lino Ayranu", French director Alain Nauroy went straight to the gutter to film Africa LOVE, an unashamedly exploitive movie set in Darkest Africa. It's mainly for fans of extremely contrasting skin tones in the sack.
This is not mere racism, as the context of thousands of latter-day videos featuring Lexington Steele, Mandingo, Jake Steed and Jada Fire. There seems to be a cinematic method in the madness, as even the Black women in the film are cast (see Spike Lee's SCHOOL DAZE for the background) with very light skin, all to contrast with the intense dark colors of the male protagonists.
Nominal story is of Europeans on safari in Africa; I missed all the niceties, not helped by watching a print dubbed in German rather than the original French track. Leading lady Sylvia Bourdon gets quite a workout with all sorts of couplings, with men and women of various races, all for the fans' delectation. Highpoint is probably a native dance routine that soon morphs into a live sex show, featuring a gargantuan Black weightlifter taking on two high-yellow girls at once. Spectator Sylvia can't resist joining in and soon it's orgy time.
There are some shots of flora and fauna to establish the African setting but this sex-intensive XXX-er doesn't really create the desired atmosphere. There is a similar movie SAFARI PORNO (there's a title that really lays it on the line), which also stars Bourdon, credited to a fictitious director "Sam Corey" who in fact is Jean Luret.
Since one heroine is named Jane, I would have much preferred this to be styled as one of those cheapie European Tarzan ripoffs, but no adventure or derring-do in the jungle ever transpires. It's all about the sex.
