...the ludicrous and even laughable "twist" towards the end.
For the first time, I find a Dermot Mulroney's peeformance good. I first saw him in the wonderful "Where the money is" and I never thought much of him. He is in that stage of his career in which he signed a nice contract to appear in several simplistic movies along the year. This is what, for example, Eric Roberts is doing out of financial necessity (I imagine) and Bruce Willis (God help him) had no need to do... but... downhill is downhill and here we are.
He actually made his part very believable and intense, which resulted in a raising the interest of the film.
The story is good up until the revelation: Who those people are, and what they are doing there, why they are doing it and how, is intelligent. What they have done that day (or caused/provoked) is absolutely stupid, unbelievable, and was just shoved into the story as a means to give more consistency to the story. EPIC FAIL!!!!
I liked it until 10 mins to the end... Acting is, in general good, the idea is good, the story is good, but the background is plain and simply, imbecillic!!!!!!!
