As depicted in the film, Xou da Xuxa (1988) never featured black girls as Xuxa's Paquitas (the stage assistants). The American version Xuxa (1993), however, had Natasha Pierce.

Pifias
The movie is set in 1989. However, the song Lua de cristal, performed by Xuxa and the Paquitas, wasn't released until the next year, 1990. The movie poster with the same title in Joana's bedroom wouldn't be available too.
