Curiosidades
In 2006, the wooden buildings at the primary filming location (also used to house the cast and crew) burned to the ground in a suspected arson. This is not the first time the buildings have suffered such a fate. A 1998 flood washed the buildings (featured in Clint Eastwood's El fuera de la ley (1976) and Monte Hellman's A través del huracán (1966)) away once, and they were only recently rebuilt.

Versiones alternativas
The DVD release allows you to view all the scenes in chronological order. The film otherwise makes heavy use of flashback, so this is an interesting way to re-watch it if you are trying to pick up more plot details.
