Can't Always Get What You Want

A key plot element of virtual reality, with the heroine's dad providing an Augmented Reality machine, overlays this otherwise traditional romance, with auteur Whitney Wright empathizing with its characters.

Evelyn Claire is the sympathetic heroine, in love with her Spanish tutor Izzy Lush, and the story is told with care. The stylization (especially in lighting) of the VR is perhaps unnecessary, but the direction is strong enough to hold a viewer's interest.
