Artistic friends of Osiecka (Bakula, Rodowicz) claimed there is too much alcohol in the movie. In fact, Osiecka was an alcoholic and her daughter, Agata Passent, was for years demythologizing her famous mother, speaking openly about her alcoholic disease.
