Between the Lines

Attractive Wicked contract star Meridian went home to the Czech Republic to shoot this oddball XXX film, spoken in Czech and likely baffling to her fans or Wicked loyalists. Veteran pornographer Richard Mailer produced, and I found it more odd than stimulating.

With naturalistic performances by a Euro cast plus good old Julian St. Jox (for IR content), it plays like an imported film, not a Wicked production. Opening segment is set in Rome in 400 A.D. with St. Jox as ruler Maximus, then the scene shifts to present-day Europe for a bucolic story that builds to a final theme: "what is life without fantasy?".

This one reminded me of several more recent paste-up jobs from Adult Source Media, in which Euro porn content is embedded in a Chatsworth wraparound story. For example, Meridian plays a writer in this Wicked effort, while Kiara Diane had a similar role in "Book of Love", a 2011 release from ASM. The results are obscure, and not properly labeled, as Adult fans are likely unprepared for a Czech-dialog extravaganza.
