¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesAfter the release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001), Hideo Kojima said that he would not direct this game. He wanted a member of his team at Konami to replace him, but none of them wanted to, so he was forced to change his mind and direct after all.
- PifiasThe first HALO jump was in 1960 not 1964.
- Citas
Major Zero: 007 is the biggest thing to come out of England since the Mayflower. I wouldn't be surprised if they made 20 more of those movies.
- Créditos adicionalesAfter the end credits, there are two revealing phone calls by Ocelot.
- Versiones alternativasMetal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (2005), an expanded version, includes many new features, such as:
- An optional third-person camera angle.
- Metal Gear Online, an online multi-player mode.
- All of the features previously exclusive to the European version of Metal Gear Solid 3 (see below).
- The original versions of Metal Gear (1987) and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (1990).

Reseña destacada
There is no debating that this is one of the greatest games ever made. In my opinion, it is the best of the best. I've lost count of how many times I've beaten it. Every time I play it, I discover something new about the game play or story. It is one of those games that you can never really get tired of.
Everything about this game is incredible. The graphics, game play and enemy AI have been improved since Metal Gear Solid 2. The plot, however, is still similar to the rest of the series. From the beginning, you really feel emotionally connected with the main characters. As you play along, you fight several bosses, all of them very memorable (especially The End and The Boss). The plot goes at a perfect pace and is very compelling. I won't spoil the ending, but it has one of the most unexpected twists I've ever seen in any form of entertainment. There are twists and turns all the way through, even AFTER the credits.
The game's musical score really makes the cut scenes more emotional and the game play more enjoyable. The soundtrack is definitely something you won't want to miss.
All in all, THIS GAME ROCKS!! 10/10 If you haven't played it, or any other games in the series, you are truly missing out.
