Curiosidades
This movie was supposed to be released in 1973, but the production company went bankrupt before the release. In 1975 it was banned by the Italian board of film review. In 1979 Renato Polselli re-cut and re-dubbed the movie, ostensibly to turn it into an allegory of female oppression. This new version was approved by the board the following year. An extended version with hardcore footage was released in adult movie theaters without the board authorization. After the release, the movie was also seized by the authorities for a few months.

Versiones alternativas
After the first cut was rejected by the Italian censorship, the movie was completely re-cut and re-dubbed, changing the whole narrative and dialogues. The new version also had a limited release with hardcore footage edited in. As a result, several different versions of the movie exist.

Sexually perverse Italian smut.

"Oscenita" is perhaps the most scandalous Renato Polselli's film.Banned for few years in Italy due to its transgressive sexual content and released in theaters in 1979 this piece of sleaze offers several sexually explicit scenes including masturbation with a candle,whipping,rape and sexual intercourse with a donkey.Unfortunately my copy of "Oscenita" is in Italian language,so the plot went beyond me,but if you are a fan of sleazy exploitation cinema you can't miss it.When it comes to Polselli I have only seen his giallo "Delirium" and Satanic sleaze "The Reincarnation of Isabel",but after seeing "Oscenita" I really want to get his other more obscure movies.8 out of 10.
