The film started in late 1997 when Sunil resurrected his career with Border and Bhai. This film went on to be a hit at the box office after getting an average opening.

At around 1:35:00, a headline reads that a police officer has killed his senior officer. The newspaper shows pictures of both the senior officer, played by Mohan Joshi (on the left) and the accused officer played by Sunil Shetty (on the right). However, if you pause at 1:35:12, the story written beneath the headline has no connection to the actual event.
