This picture offers little reward after compelling us to witness a tragedy of draconian proportions. A dedicated prosecutor, hot on the trail of an organized crime gang, is assassinated with his small son as witness. After the movie has ended, you don't feel as though you've learned anything, you just feel dirty and the images of the mindless shooting play out in your head forever. While the message is the old "Crime Does Not Pay" bit, the crime is easily the centerpiece of this disturbing and violent yarn. Want a good time? Watch "Ghostbusters." Save yourself the misery, and memory, of this demeaning and senseless film.
