Curiosidades
Nirvana was offered a part in the film as one of the performers in Waynestock and band members Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic were even shown a rough cut of the film to try to persuade them but they eventually declined.

Pifias
When Wayne is driving away in the sports car after the glass/chicken/melon crash, he drives past a sign that says "Santa Barbara." Santa Barbara is in Southern California, many hundreds of miles from Aurora, Illinois, and would not be signposted that far away, showing that the film is being shot in California rather than Illinois.

The scene is a shot-for-shot homage of the ending to "The Graduate" in which Dustin Hoffman takes the Santa Barbara freeway exit in a similar vehicle just before stopping at the same service station, the "errors in geography" in this portion of the film are deliberate.

Del Preston: So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.

Wayne and Garth have to clean up after the Waynestock event. They are supervised by the Indian, who has a tear running down his cheek after looking at the mess left behind. Wayne (to Indian): "Don't worry, we'll clean it up."

All home media versions replace the Batman theme with a generic sound alike, but remained intact on TV airings for a while.

Slight improvement

Slight improvement

The sequel is in the same fashion as the original, but is slightly better. This time the story makes sense, the references are more interesting, the spoofs better measured and sometimes really funny, and the whole movie is much more entertaining. It's still light years away from a good movie, but unlike the first one, this at least isn't a waste of time. If for no other reason, it's worth a look for big names such as Christopher Walken (in one of the lead roles), full Aerosmith, James Hong, Heather Locklear, Heather Locklear, and Charlton Heston.
