Olof Sjögren, who portrays the cobbler Snäll, originally auditioned for the role of the "Country Store Owner". A profession he had in real life for almost 30 years. He was instead cast as the drunken cobbler, even though he never had a drink in his entire life.

Wonderful and Beautiful story.

Astrid Lindgren one of the greatest children's novelist ever are here with one of her's best one, about a group of children in little village in Sweden. Wonderful written stories by Ms. Lindgren. All children show outstanding performance.

Like in all Astrid Lindgren books she writes about the Charity in the world and left all the violence and bad thing in is, 'cause that's the way it best.
