Amusing and entertaining Spanish film with the popular singer Manolo Escobar who steals the show with his sympathy and catching songs . This Escobar recital is an agreeable and lively musical comedy with a lot of songs . After a disconcerting beginning, the story creates a love-humorous plot with a vacation-beach atmosphere, clash of classes and misunderstandings. In ¨Un Beso en el Puerto¨Manolo sings both at the gas station and in jail with some diverting gypsies, in a dreamlike sequence also with a calo atmosphere or in the luxury car of an Ingrid Pitt who is quite wasted beyond showing her palmetto from time to time.

Manolo (Manolo Escobar) is fired from his job as a gas station driver because he spends more time singing than using the pumps. In Benidorm, and after following the advice of his friend Jaime (Arturo López), Manolo tries to win over the tourists with a name confusion trick. One of them is Dorothy (Ingrid Pitt), an American who is waiting for her cousin Carlos (Manuel Alexandre) at the port.
