Second, the role of Tomash Kruticky was played by VALENTIN Scheglov, a relatively unknown actor, who died in 1948 and, naturally, has no connection with VICTOR Scheglov mentioned by IMDb All the above information is quite available and is contained in a wonderful book by Alexey Scheglov (Valentin Scheglov's son)"Ranevskaya" on the life and career of the brilliant Russian actress and on the time she lived and worked in.
