A young couple live in seclusion in a cabin in the woods. An old theme perhaps, but this is an intelligent variation on that theme. The couple seem perfectly normal other than the man has a fairly violent temper when he's crossed. The woman (popular Sophie Rundle, best known for playing Ada Shelby in Peaky Blinders) appears to be writing a book on an old typewriter, all very normal. Her husband has a regular delivery of petrol but one day his usual delivery guy doesn't turn up and this is when things turn sour when someone else turns up with excuses but no petrol. Later a girl is heard screaming in the woods and the husband equipped with a hunting rifle investigates and finds her with her leg caught in an animal trap. He takes her back to the cabin and is something of a Bear Grylls whereby he's a survivor and can fix broken legs. This plays out like a Tales Of The Unexpected and we see something that I never saw coming so it's worth seeing this little horror movie. It is very dark but stick with it and you will be rewarded.
