This short film is full of surprising and strength.
The director did not satisfy by only telling a modern version of religious story, which presented audience a warmest Christmas. She combined her imagine with expressive frames and her own style of art, and explored for more and more plots out of current framework to continuously surprise to audience.
Not only the talent of the director you can see from this film. Ideas for story, detailed design for art and sound, etc., they are not just come from professionalism, moreover, they are come from love and dedication for film productions and pursuit of arts.
Had to admit, there are also imperfections in this film. The director had lots of ideas to fulfill. And it seems the film is a little bit eager for feeding more and more plots to audience. Maybe sometimes it should slow down, and develop plots more sufficient. Expect more interactions between Mary and Jesus, and also Jesuses, which definitely should be the funnest part and design their dialogs should also be enjoyable.
