Daddy Long Legs

Based on Jean Webster's novel of the same name and her subsequent Broadway play from 1912 and 1914, respectively, this is a musical adaptation first performed on stage at the Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, California, in 2008. The performance here occurred in 2015 Off-Broadway at the Davenport Theatre, 354 West 45th Street in NYC. Unlike Jean Webster's play and the several adaptations for movies, Papá piernas largas (1955), La simpática huerfanita (1935), Papá piernas largas (1931), and Papá piernas largas (1919), this production employs only two actors, maintaining the epistolary aspect of the original story.
