Curiosidades
The story of the film occur now days, but is based in true events that happened in 1470 in Shkodra, Albania where a church was destroyed by the war and after years was transformed in mosque by the Ottomans, but the vizier of the time, under the request of the Muslim Community , gave to the Catholic Community permission to use it as a church once a week, because the closest church to them would be too far to reach.

The film was shoot in Valbone and Dragobi in the Bajram Curri's district in Albania where different religious communities leave in harmony and celebrate together their respective religious feasts.

Albanese portrait

I saw it as a realistic, delicate and precise portrait of Albania. From religion aspects, to reference to Enver Hodja regime, from impressive nature to conservative rules and connections between family members so familiar in Balkans. The basic virtue - admirable portrait of Besiki by Arben Bajraktaraj , the beautiful sketch of love story and the perfect end.
