The UK release was cut, cuts required to remove dialogue encouraging gagging during sexual activity and to remove liquid being expelled directly from the genitals onto another person, in order to obtain an R18 classification. Cuts made in accordance with BBFC Guidelines and policy, and the Video Recordings Act 1984 and, in the case of the latter cut, in line with current interpretation of the Obscene Publications Act 1959. An uncut classification was not available.

As often is the case, Bluebird Films' progenitor Paul Chaplin hogs most of the girls in "European Call Girls", a title that suggests another of those Czech or Hungarian babes on display but turns out to be just a routine showcase of homegrown Brit flesh.

Two of his label's biggest stars Gemma Massey and Anna Lovato make the scene, but I enjoyed seeing the more obscure Tommie Jo and her big moneymakers a lot more in the final scene. She departs from the video's format by introducing us: "Welcome to Bluebird TV" and pretending that her vignette is an Adult TV call-in show, mixing phone sex with humping on the set (in her case serviced by the unknown Adam Child).

So the pun here is that these girls use the phone, hence call girls, but they amount to prostitutes all the same. And with Chaplin in charge, the line between "respectable" adult actresses and whores (euphemistically known as "escorts") is forever blurred.
