The scene where the guy pauses the room was originally shorter and already shot. However, one day the school had a blackout and many students were out in the hall. The cast and crew used this to their advantage and decided to shoot another pausing scene just to be safe. This was achieved by the director, Dalton Viggers, yelling "Pause", and the actors, Aaron Wylie, Jared Wignall and other people out in the hall, would stop. The actor, Cody Warren, would keep walking until off camera, the director then yelled "Unpause" and everyone acted as if nothing happened.
