Just for the ownership of a piece of a land the cousins would wage a ruthless war between themselves. For centuries, this phenomenon has taken its toll and it has never stopped. The film 'Shareek', with all the emotion, romance, thrill and action, addresses this menace strongly, although in the undercurrent.

Reverse Gear to 1990's

If you are a person born in late 1980s then u must have watched bunch of movies like this on Doordarshan in 1990s. Who was telling that this movie will be a trend changer. If comedy movies are coming in a bulk quantity then to bring a change there should be a movie with a new concept. There was no new concept just an old story has been covered with new actors and all that stupidity. Yah! we need a change in Punjabi cinema but please! move forward bring some new things not go backwards. People are moving towards moon, mars etc. but our Punjabi cinema is still struggling with the age old fights of Jatts and the fighting was too looking fake with third class action. Can we have a negative rating please! IMDb AWFUL
