Seg-El was named after "Superman" creator Jerry Siegel.

Pifias
Seg and Adam and other characters sometimes speak of distances in the universe, like in one episode about "the earth being million lightyears away". But in the last episode of season 2 good old Lobo mentions the milky way so that it seems Krypton is in the milky way galaxy. Problem: the milky way is not even close 1 million light year of diameter (ca. 105,000 ly).

The DC Comics logo is set in space, and embedded with red Kryptonian earth. It turns green (the color of kryptonite, radioactive Kryptonian earth) and explodes (foreshadowing Krypton's fate).

Zero originality but shows promise

I wish I'd smoked whatever the 10/10 reviewers passed around but this show starts with very little originality. It's annoying that they felt the need to dumb down the plot with a current Superman villain and try to make sense of it with a time traveler. Very been there, done that. Save yourself some time, everything is in the trailer. Wait until the end of the season to see if it improves and becomes binge worthy
