Amanda Huxtable is a dynamic actress and multi-disciplined artist, working across New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Her recent credits include "Creepshow" (AMC/Warner Bros/Shudder), "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" (AppleTV/Legendary), and "A Clüsterfünk Christmas" (Comedy Central - Rachel Dratch & Ana Gasteyer). Additional work spans Netflix, Hallmark, Amazon Prime, and CBC, as well as starring roles on stage in New York City.
Originally from London, Ontario, Amanda moved to the U.S. as a teen and earned a coveted spot in the BFA Musical Theatre program at Otterbein University. While still a student, she interned at the Telsey Office in NYC and was soon hired as a Broadway and on-camera audition reader, collaborating with top creative teams.
After graduating, Amanda toured nationally, performed at premier regional theaters, and starred Off-Broadway. Her film debut featured a memorable, improvised scene opposite Willie Garson ("Sex and the City") in "Before I Go".
Other career highlights include a recurring role in Netflix's "Phantom Pups", voicing lead roles in multiple animated series, placing in the Top 60 of "Canadian Idol", performing opposite comedy legend Colin Mochrie in "Life, Such As It Is" (NYC), and originating all five female roles in "I Hate Musicals", written by The Simpsons' Mike Reiss. Catch her as multiple roles in the upcoming CBC/Cartoon Network series, "Lana Longbeard", debuting December 2024.
