Mark Deitch is a broad-based media professional with a unique palette of skills and experience across all media; worked in film, TV and live events.

Mark Deitch has had a career spent working across all aspects of broadcasting & film - senior positions in both a new media start-up and one of the largest traditional media corporations in the world. Experience of public service, commercial, cable & satellite and Video on Demand. Worked with VC, commercial and state-funded organisations. Used to managing large and complex budgets as well as vital relationships. o Acquisitions: Detailed knowledge of the workings of the international film & TV market place in all aspects of free & pay TV - specifically sourcing and licensing product from a wide range of film & TV contacts from major studios to small independents. A strong and experienced negotiator, often at Studio level. A thorough knowledge of both library and current material. Used to managing executives as well as business affairs & technical staff. Attended nearly every major market for the last 20 years. o Sales: Ran own TV/video sales company for over 10 years. Responsible at every level; including basic administration, accession and negotiation in terms of acquisition and sales. o Assessment: 30 years experience in project assessment of both completed projects & proposals. A practical & objective understanding of what works with audiences. Used to identifying and sourcing product from all areas of supply. Strong on ideas & development. o Scheduling: Over 25 years experience in scheduling for cable, satellite & terrestrial TV o Commissioning: 20 years experience in commissioning/pre-buys for both TV and theatrical o Development: 25 years experience in developing feature film and TV projects o TV Channels: Successfully created, ran, developed and launched (and re-launched) channels o Production: 25 years experience in TV production, as executive producer, writer, producer & director.
