Marta Gervasutti was born and raised in Milan. She attended the Cinema School of Milan immediately after the high school in 2002. There she could learn several cinematographic techniques and achieved different diplomas: screenplay, direction and production. Her first short movie "Cose Perdute" ("Lost Things") is a sort of dreamlike tale on how important is the effective value of the things that we use every day but we so easily loose. After the diplomas she won the "National Funding for artistic works - cinema section" in 2004 for both a second short movie "Fiore D'Antartide" ( A Flower in Antarctica) and her first long movie "Nuvole Basse D'Agosto" (Low Clouds in August).
In 2006 she moved from Milan to Rome and started work as first assistant director and casting director.
She shot many short movies and her director and casting director career grow up together, since now.
She's also an acting coach and in 2017 she founded her school for actors TAG - The Acting Group in Rome.
