Maxx Maulion is a Manager in Los Angeles and New Mexico. Under his stage name of Maxx, he is a writer/producer as well as a retired, former actor. Maxx started his career in the entertainment industry as an actor in Los Angeles, making countless connections with agents and casting directors that would later prove useful in his career as a manager. After spending a year in Beijing starring in the feature film Empires of the Deep, Maxx returned home to write and produce a Latin Ballroom Dance feature film comedy called Tony Tango. With the help of Andres DeOliveria, Maxx produced the film and successfully secured distribution. Tony Tango went on to premier at the New York International Film Festival, Miami International Film Festival, San Diego Film Festival where it won the Audience Award, and Chicago Comedy Film Festival where it won Best Comedy. During the festival run of Tony Tango, Maxx was introduced to influential talent manager Barry Katz, who offered Maxx a job supporting him in all areas of his business. Maxx jumped at the opportunity to learn from the man who helped launch the careers of people like Dave Chappelle, Wanda Sykes, Marc Maron, Whitney Cummings, Jim Gaffigan, and Tracy Morgan. During the next 5 years, Maxx was asked to produce the influential podcast, "Industry Standard" with Mr. Katz, meeting and coordinating esteemed guests such as Kenya Barris, Judd Apatow, Russell Peters, Dennis Rodman, Caitlyn Jenner, Patricia Heaton, and Estee Adoram, to name a few. Maxx helped handle the management of clients at Barry Katz Entertainment, including Kirk Fox, Bill Bellamy, Ben Gleib, and Brad Williams. Maxx also assisted Barry in producing multiple projects, including the ground-breaking documentary "I Killed JFK".
