Taylor "Tay" Love, a successful entrepreneur and storyteller from Dallas, Texas, embarked on her creative writing journey at the age of 12, diving into fiction and music as a means of self-expression. At 15, she shifted her focus towards a career in music and management. Even during her business management and marketing studies at Prairie View A&M University, Tay continued her creative writing efforts, using her skills to shape treatments for commercials and music videos.
In 2020, Taylor collaborated with Corey Pratt of Vanta Media and Calvin J. Walker of Watchmen Media, resulting in her first award-winning short film "Checkout Time." Since then, she has gone on to write and produce three more short films. Her filmmaking journey has led her to the role of Director of Film and Television at Cue & Coda Films, where she has penned two noteworthy scripts, including a psychological thriller titled "Left" and "Twisted Hearts," starring Cocoa Brown, Jay Reeves, Leland B Martin, Emelina Adams, Adrian Lockett, Lauren Ashley White, and Mashayla Barnes.
Taylor's creative talents extend to writing and developing scripts for notable personalities such as Jason Mitchell, Rudy Rush, and Bunny DeBarge. In 2023, she served as the production coordinator on a short film featuring Naturi Naughton and produced by Take Two Entertainment, starring Naturi Naughton, Birgundi Baker, and Vanessa Bell Calloway. Taylor's trajectory positions her as a formidable force in the world of filmmaking.
