Don Ng Hiu-Tung worked as a journalist in Hong Kong for 15 years before transitioning to filmmaking in 2015. Since then, he has directed 12 award-winning short films in Hong Kong and Britain, focusing primarily on social dramas. In July 2024, Don produced his debut feature film, No Time for Goodbye, which was shot in London.
