Akasha Coral was born in Istanbul. After she completed her B.A. in International Relations and Politics in Istanbul, she shot a feature documentary about media censorship in Turkey "Censor of the People, For the People?" which wasn't released due to its edgy subject. This venture lead to a occupational shift and she moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2018 to study the "Business of Entertainment" post-graduate program at UCLA. She has helped produce numerous short films which received awards in prestigious festivals. Amidst the pandemic, she moved back to her hometown to work at Karga Seven Pictures, coordinating the production processes of Netflix original series like "Midnight at the Pera Palace" and "Testament: The Story of Moses". She also was a part of the short journey of Disney+ in Turkey, aiding in the production finance department, helping local production companies get on board with Disney's international standards. She worked on "Atatürk 1881-1919", "Ayten", "Numen" and "El Turco". Coral is currently working as a production finance coordinator at Karga Seven Pictures, also working on a Youtube channel called "Capsule Cine"
