Crafting her path between Letters and Arts, Nadia Kamali Marouazi grew up amid two distinct cultures, French and Moroccan, blending the influences of both.
Since 2022, Nadia has been a Professor of Modern Literature and Methodology, teaching academic writing methodology at University. Her educational contributions extend across various French institutions and schools, covering subjects from French language learning to literature, cinema history, and film analysis.
In the cinematic realm, Nadia has made a mark as an author and screenwriter. In 2023, she played a role in scripting two feature films, "Triple A" by Jihane El Bahhar and "Le Silence de la Musique" by Saâd Chraibi, both receiving support from the Moroccan Cinematographic Center.
Her extensive audiovisual background, which includes creating and co-writing successful series such as "Lalla Fatéma," "Yak Hna Jirane," "Touria," "Zina," "l'Usine," and the documentary collection "10 femmes de l'Histoire du Maroc," has primed her for cinematic storytelling. She has also contributed to the Belgian series "Adèle," broadcast by Canal+, and participated in the German project "Lingua Amoris." Currently, she is engaged in crafting a historical biopic. Additionally, she is developing a television series, "Reborn," delving into the impact of the events of September 11 on characters born of a dual culture.
Beyond her list of achievements, Nadia stands out for her narrative style, shedding light on the stories of women and men often marginalized for their bold choices or uniqueness, yet who consistently manage to make their voices heard.
