Sister Code

Not terrible but not great. The plot was decent enough to keep me watching, however, the acting was subpar at best; the actors talked over each other & there were a few pauses. I liked the bartender's character, but the actor could have added some passion. There was no spark and I didn't really root for him. I did enjoy Amber Rose's performance and of course Rolanda Watts, Duane Martin & Eva were natural. Additionally, the few moments that produced a guffaw (mainly Marcus Paulk & the gay assistant) were pleasant and I won't spoil the ending but really?? This movie has great potential but did not hit the mark. Overall, if you have time to kill or you enjoy mediocre movies that could have been great, watch this movie. They had great intentions with this film but it just didn't hold up.
