[the group sees Pikachu start turning to stone and remembers when Yveltal fired at him]

[Pikachu's body slowly turns to stone]

Pikachu: [looks up at Ash] Pika, pi.

[the rest of him turns to stone as he closes his eyes]

Ash Ketchum: [choked up] No, Pikachu. Come on, Pikachu. Pikachu. Come back, Pikachu!

[Bonnie starts crying before tearfully hugging Serena who starts crying as well while Clemont looks away in sadness]

Ash Ketchum: Pikachu. Pikachu!

[everyone stands in sad silence until the ground lights up with energy. Everyone looks over to see Xerneas standing nearby]

Serena: Xerneas...

[Pikachu suddenly glows with energy and turns back to normal]
