Most of the film was shot in a set on an industrial estate near Antwerp, Belgium. This set, a replica of medieval Antwerp, was not purpose built for this movie. It had been build over the course of four months, by a local businessman to celebrate the 160 anniversary of his company.

nice

Adventure film. Not great, not memorable, form of Protestant propaganda in some measure, but nice. Especially for the children actors. A film about courage, friendship, faith and noble causes. Touching Antwerp , familiar mechanism of tension, decent performances and the plaisant end. Just a nice film, perfect after an exhausted day.
