'Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.'

Neither Donkey Nor Horse is an exceptional, engaging, and compelling short documentary that proves the old adage that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The historical event that this movie is about was over 100 years ago, but is so timely and topical to today. Everything about this film is of the highest caliber, from the incredible cinematography, the wonderful acting, engaging and true plot line and story. Neither Donkey Nor Horse just won a student Academy Award! I hesitated to even mention that it was a student production because some movie buffs might be turned away by that expecting it to not be good quality. Until the final credits rolled, I would've never, and you won't either when you see it, thought this was a student production.
