The script in this one it's actually surprisingly deep and emotional and has some taboo subjects ( for Chinese society) that wasn't expecting. The writing is also quite smart.
I enjoyed the bond of the friends and how much they valued their relationship until the very end supporting each other through everything.
A very healthy and healing drama overall. Including the relationships, which of course had some misunderstandings like they all do, but they get resolved quickly and with conversations and communication and it was very satisfying to watch, i was surprised to see how I was enjoying that part of the drama, no toxicity no clichés.
My favorite thing here after the writing was the acting, it is very impressive to see the 22 year old Wu Jun Ting debuting in this drama and literally nailing his character as Ji Jun Xing, the guy will leave you speechless and I honestly can't wait to see him in his next role!
The other mention is for Lu Yu Xiao as Lin Xi, who is also very young but loved to watch as Lin Xi, what a tornado! Super energetic and charismatic! Loved her!
I just had a problem with one character and was with the second male lead: he was uselessly mistreated and under appreciated in such a painful way in this drama. I will never understand it. It doesn't fit in in the group of friends. Doesn't have family at all, no one supports him, gets no love nor attention from the female lead ( merely crumps when he begs for them) and they keep dragging his storyline until the very end?!? I was HOPING they ended his misery way sooner because it was the cruelest story given to a character i have seen in this type of drama in a while.... that's the only reason I am not giving this drama a 10.
Overall very enjoyable watch, don't miss it!
