When Ruth ruins a baby shower with her drunken, juvenile antics, her old high school cronies, who are all mothers now, promptly de-friend her. But when she is later mistakenly thought to be "with child," she is inexplicably welcomed back into the group. Ruth plans on coming clean, but when her dad has a heart attack and tells her that
the only thing keeping him alive is the promise of grandkids, Ruth decides to continue to fake the pregnancy. Things get even more complicated when Ruth falls in love with her new boss, who seems to wants nothing more than to raise her unborn child as his
own. Can she get out of this without losing her job, friends, respect of her family, and the new love of her life? This edgy comedy challenges the stereotypes of finding love and motherhood.

Sonja Bennett wrote this film to showcase herself as an actress. After turning 30, she had realized that it was becoming more and more difficult for her to get good parts, to the point that she retired from acting for a few years and conceived this project as a comeback of sorts. Unfortunatelly, it did not work out as well as she had hoped, so she decided to pursue a new career writing for television, while acting eventually became her side job.

well well well well.....

the good or evil of wishing,wanting,cheating,lying or even feeling PREGNANT,well here is a nice start for everyone in the start-pit.though the film felt extremely gloomy in the start,it really became a childfree winner in the end.its all about cushions and jelly ''belly''-buttons made by a Mexican. .it all had to fade away in the end.a shamelessly embarrassing and emotional movie ,nice performance by lead actress.
