.
"Mukt is a rare movie that deals with how the seemingly harmless inward turmoil of a millennial boy turns into more severe problems. The film has some engaging open hearted conversations on mental heath issues, and is a film that millennials and older generations will connect to alike"
.
Darsheel Safary's convincing acting supported by Sarika Singh, Maneesh Verma, Poorvi Koutish, Naman Jain, Shibani Bedi, Krishna Chaturvedi makes a stellar cast. Sandesh Shandilya's touching music adds beautifully to the plot.

Artists have strong imaginations which must be channelled correctly. Vicky finds himself trapped in his mind. Sumeet Nagdev's script and direction engages the viewer immediately. Some of the heart-wrenching scenes in the first half of the film almost makes the viewer empathise and thus makes them a part of Vicky's journey to freedom.
.
The movie uses metaphors that give the mind food for thought just in the right amount. It brings the viewer's attention to deeper issues. The dance sequences certainly keep the viewer hooked.
.
Personally, I connected with the film on various levels. We often forget that complex problems have simple solutions. Watch Vicky's journey that takes the viewer through feelings of fear, frustation, denial, love and eventual freedom. Overall, this is the kind of content that the India of today needs to see!
