I watched the Chinese original and the Korean version and there are some changes between them, some of them actually good (in the K version I mean). So yes, I was willing to try this one as well, why not. Thai dramas are sometimes pretty warmhearted, much more so than K ones. Of course they can be very cringey and all over the place with the product placements. But no matter.
So it was on YT, where I find out about its existence in the first place, so easy peasy. Only I was immediately put off by the girl's haircut. What on earth is that? The female lead is supposed to be cute, but this girl is not it. I could see that her hairstyle changed later, it did not even look like her in high-school at all. I'm sorry to be stuck on such a superficial detail, but the girl's sweetness and cutesiness is crucial to liking the character. The guy is more likeable here, same as in the K version, as opposed to the original. However, the Thai version also changes so many things in the characters' backstories. I don't remember him having a little brother. What was that? This is what I remember now, after so much time, but there were plenty of things happening that I just kept questioning everything and almost mumbling to myself. I think I watched the first episode or something like that and then stopped and I meant to get back to it to give it one more try after I'm over the first impression, but now they took it off YT, so that's it. I'm sure I wouldn't have finished it, maybe I would've watched one more episode. With so many adaptations from K and J series they usually follow the original and add more scenes and content, I felt like with this one they went too much off script. Even the synopsis is so different from what their story is in the original.
