I hope Hallmark had a hand in financing this pic. It's the only way I can explain how the French could have produced something so predictable and full of clichés.
There is nothing here to interest anyone who cares about movies. If you like Hallmark movies, stick with those. You'd have to read subtitles with this one, and it really isn't worth the effort.
It's the story of a 32 yo woman soccer player who has a bad year and fears that her best years are over. Her team, Guingamp, wants to sell her. Her coach convinces her to go to the mountains. (The French remain convinced that returning to nature will cure a lot of ills.) There she meets a former soccer player who got burned out. Together they train and she comes back to life. (Good sex helps too.)
You can figure out the rest.
It's all very predictable, paint by the numbers. Pretty leads, but not worth your time if you want more than that.
