The Jacket 1922

Wow I Would like to see more of this kind of art in this century. This silent short was excellent and easily brought me back in time to the original silent movies that I remember hearing about from my great grand parents and then researching on my own as a young adult. I was hooked after seeing CC that's for sure. Silent films hold such a magic about them, yes I love all the Hollywood special effects,sound music scores etc.. but how incredible when your emotions are exposed from silence! "The Jacket 1922" reached in and grabbed my emotions on many levels. I really enjoyed the climax of the film at the end. It challenged me to also use my own imagination and wonder what became of poor Ella Hartland? How many of us can relate on some levee with her and sympathize for her loss and our own loss of a loved one perhaps we never got to say good bye to? I personally have experienced such loss that I too didn't know how to move on from.I didn't become an alcoholic recluse like Mrs.Hartland but I came close. I Hope to see more from this director. Keep up the great work!
