The bad detail- maybe the poor boar, result off technology . And the boar head as a sort of message between intimidation and magic.. But, sure, the boar is only a detail, the crumbs of absurd work just well and the story is just pleasant. And the end, revolutionary in its essence, indeed, it is just charming.
