After seeing the trailer for "A Difficult Conversation" I told myself that I would not take this film lightly. The story itself is superb, tackling many issues in a very concise way. The characters are clearly in intense pain, struggling to hold a broken family together. The actors have seriously stepped into their characters, and the anger and pain Elijah experiences and the way in which his rage is expressed is phenomenal.
The writing is excellent, the dialog flows beautifully, making a difficult conversation exceptionally understandable and easy to process. It's not hard to see that the writer/director has pulled some of his real life emotions into this project and use the platform to raise awareness to more than one social issue.
I look forward to many more Inpatient Productions films.
