The Last Day of August

I liked this film a lot. The cast was good but the lead really shined. I can't imagine that it was an easy role to portray. The friends did come across as a bit overbearing at first but became easier on relate to when more details were revealed about what brought them to that point. Several cast/crew members are also in another sad movie I watched today called The Fireworkers. They must all be friends as they mesh very well on screen. Maybe they'll collaborate on something that doesn't require Kleenex to watch some day :^) Both are free to members on Prime right now...at least in the US. Not sure about other regions.
